Privacy
Privacy Policy — Last updated: March 11, 2026. VidEngine ("the Service") is operated by Brian Johnson. This policy describes how your data is collected, used, and stored when you use videngine.app.
When you create an account, the Service collects your email address, password, and any channel information you choose to provide such as your channel name, YouTube URL, and avatar. As you use the Service, your video projects, pipeline progress, and engine outputs are also stored. All user data is stored in Supabase, and access is restricted so that each user can only view and modify their own data.
If you use the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature, your OpenRouter API key is stored in your browser only and is never transmitted to or stored on VidEngine servers. API calls using your key are sent directly from your browser to OpenRouter, and you are solely responsible for the security of your API key and any charges incurred through OpenRouter. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you will need to re-enter your key.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which serves as the merchant of record and handles all payment information, sales tax, and VAT on behalf of VidEngine. VidEngine does not store credit card numbers or payment details, and Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy governs your payment data. Cookies are used solely for authentication purposes. Third-party tracking or advertising tools are not used at this time, and if that changes, this policy will be updated. The third-party services that may process your data are Supabase for database and authentication, Lemon Squeezy for payment processing, and OpenRouter for BYOK API calls made directly from your browser.
You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account at any time by contacting the address below, and upon account deletion your data is removed from the system. The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13 and data is not knowingly collected from children. This policy may be updated from time to time, with the date at the top reflecting the most recent revision and material changes communicated by email.
