Terms of Service

Terms of Service — VidEngine Last updated: March 11, 2026 1\. What This Is VidEngine is a video production planning tool operated by Brian Johnson. By creating an account or using the service at videngine.app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. 2\. What You Get VidEngine provides a step-by-step pipeline for planning YouTube videos — research, scripting, visual mapping, and edit planning. I charge for the software and the system. I do not charge for AI usage. AI costs are yours, handled through your own subscriptions or API keys. 3\. Your API Key, Your Responsibility If you use the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) pipeline, your OpenRouter API key is stored in your browser only. It never touches my server. Your browser sends your key directly to OpenRouter. I do not store, log, or transmit your API key. You are responsible for your own key security and any charges from OpenRouter. 4\. Payments and Refunds Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, sales tax, and VAT on my behalf. Pricing includes a one-time access fee and a monthly subscription. Early buyers lock in their price tier. Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy's standard process. 5\. Your Content You own everything you create with VidEngine — your projects, your engine outputs, your scripts, your research. I do not claim any rights to your content. Your data is stored in my database for the purpose of providing the service. If you delete your account, your data is deleted. 6\. What You Agree Not to Do Don't use VidEngine to do anything illegal. Don't try to reverse-engineer the system, scrape it, or resell access. Don't share your account with others. One account, one person. 7\. The Service As-Is I'm building this in public and improving it constantly. The service is provided as-is. I do my best to keep it running and reliable, but I don't guarantee 100% uptime or that every feature will work perfectly at all times. I'm not liable for lost revenue, missed uploads, or downstream consequences of using the tool. 8\. Changes to These Terms I may update these terms as the product evolves. If I make significant changes, I'll notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
